This is a pro-rated warranty. Pro-rated warranties reference the cost of parts covered by Octane Seating in the event of a claim. These pro-rated costs are clearly defined in the section "Parts Warranty – Coverage and Limitations" below.
- All warranties are to the original purchaser from authorized dealers only. Warranties are not transferable.
- All warranties are limited to manufacturing and material defects that appear under normal, indoor use. Additional limitations described herein apply.
- Warranties are for repair or parts replacement, in Octane Seating's sole discretion. REFUNDS ARE NOT AVAILABLE.
- Octane Seating will pay reasonable and customary rates for labor during the period of the labor warranty. The consumer will be responsible for labor costs after the stated time period.
- Octane Seating is not responsible for any initial or subsequent inspection fees or any transportation costs related to this Limited Warranty. These are not considered a covered expense. Only labor incurred in the first year as detailed in "Labor Warranty - Coverages and Limitations" is covered.
- This warranty does not cover any damages due to improper use, excessive soiling, improper or unapproved cleaning methods, chemical treatments, exposure to direct sunlight or color fading. These instances will void the warranty.
- Warranties do not apply to products used for rental, business, commercial, institutional, in recreational vehicles or otherwise non-residential uses. Warranties do not apply to purchases of floor samples or "AS IS" products except as required by law.
- Except as set forth in this warranty and to the extent provided by law, in no event will Octane Seating be liable for incidental or consequential damages, even if it had reason to know in advance that such damages were possible.
- If within the warranty period, identical materials are unavailable at the time of repair or replacement, Octane Seating reserves the right to substitute materials, of equal or better quality. Replacement leathers or fabrics may vary in color or texture from the original due to the inherent nature of leather and dye lot differences.
To make a warranty claim or to inquire about concerns with your Octane Seating product, please contact the authorized Octane Seating retailer from where the original purchase was made. When making a claim under this warranty, proof of purchase with the original bill of sale is required. Should this not be available, Octane Seating reserves the right to deny the claim. Octane Seating reserves the right to request photo verification and/or the return of defective parts to its factory at the sole cost of the consumer.
For this five (5) year pro-rated warranty, Octane Seating will cover 100% of the cost of parts and labor in year one (1). Octane Seating will cover 80% of the cost of parts only in year two (2), 60% of the cost of parts only in year three (3), 40% of the cost of parts only in year four (4), and 20% of the cost of parts only in year five (5). In each case, with the exception of the first year, the original consumer will be responsible to pay the balance of the cost of parts.
For this five (5) year pro-rated warranty, Octane Seating will cover 100% of the cost of parts and labor in year one (1). For this one (1) year warranty, Octane Seating will cover 100% of the cost of parts and labor in year one (1).
For this one (1) year warranty, Octane Seating will cover 100% of the cost of parts and labor in year one (1). Leather coverage does not include natural markings, shrinkage, stretching, or variations in grain or color, which occur naturally and prove the authenticity of the leather. Fabric fading, pilling, shrinkage, stretching, wearing quality and color fastness are not covered by this warranty.
Octane Seating offers a one (1) year warranty for labor and workmanship on all furniture. The warranty takes effect from the date of delivery to the original retail consumer. After one (1) year, the original retail consumer will be responsible for all costs related to labor. See "Parts Warranty – Coverage and Limitations" above for details.
Octane Seating products are warranted to be free from manufacturing and parts defects from the date of purchase under the condition of normal use in accordance with the following Coverage & Limitations:
- MATERIAL, MECHANISM, MOTOR AND FRAME – Three (3) Years
- CULP DILLON CONTRACT FABRIC - Three (3) Years
- FOAM AND FIBER USED IN THE SEATS AND BACKS – One (1) Year
Octane Seating offers a one (1) year warranty for the cost of labor, shipping and handling to repair or replace defective part(s). This takes effect from the date of shipment to the original customer. After one (1) year, the original customer will be responsible for all costs related to labor.
- All warranties are to the original purchaser from authorized dealers only. Warranties are not transferable.
- Cover material supplied by Octane Seating is supported by the manufacturer's specified warranty.
- Customer Own Material (COM) and Customer Own Leather (COL) are not warranted by Octane Seating.
- Octane Seating will replace or repair at our discretion any furniture deemed defective under said Warranty.
- For any product that is deemed to be unrepairable while within the warranty period, Octane Seating will determine the ultimate disposition of the product and will not authorize returns.
- Repair or replacement costs will not exceed the original purchase price of the product.
- Field repairs require written authorization in advance of any repair performed from an authorized Octane Seating representative.
- This warranty does not cover any damages incurred by misuse, accident, abuse or neglect (products deemed misused, mishandled, or altered).
- Except as set forth in this warranty and to the extent provided by law, in no event will Octane Seating be liable for incidental or consequential damages, even if it had reason to know in advance that such damages were possible.
